The Diamondback Bicycles 2015 Tess 24 Complete Hardtail Mountain Bike is a very solid bike, Well-constructed and arrived in excellent condition. Assembly was so easy and good entry level bike. Front shock for 11 year old girl that will likely be on road no biggie. I have 3 girls and wife that needed old bikes replaced. (11, 13,15) This was 1st of 5 bikes bought and assembled for family this week. (This DB, 3 mongoose, and Gravity FS 29er-for me- 2 thumbs up on this one) I have experience with assembly so no problems. If you aren't familiar with tuning basics you might think that bike is defective. Remember you are opting to save money by by passing the bike shop (which is where they have the experience and expertise to assure it is RTG.) The rear derailer bracket was bent so needed to straighten. Adjusting the V brakes we're needed. Comes with a basic tool kit. Only one of the 5 bike to ship with any tools.
